Jessica Shyba started blogging as a way to keep in touch with family and friends during her cross-country move from California to New York. When her chronicles of her child’s daily side-by-side naps with her dog went viral, using the hashtag #theoandbeau, the blog blew up, expanding to include a travel section and her essays on parenting. Five years, two picture books (Naptime with Theo & Beau and Bathtime with Theo & Beau), and half a million Instagram followers later, Jessica’s still blogging strong, and using her celebrity for good by raising money for the SPCA where she adopted Theo.
