UnJaded Jade

Entered in Education, Learning & Development

Objective

Education shapes every young person's future, yet the conversations driving policy and innovation often happen without them. Jade Bowler's mission is to change that.

Through creator-led storytelling, Jade bridges the gap between students and the institutions shaping education, making complex issues accessible while ensuring young people's perspectives are represented in the rooms where decisions are made.

Her work goes beyond explaining education; it connects audiences with the people influencing it. By collaborating with government, global education organisations and industry leaders, Jade explores topics including climate anxiety amongst young people, AI in education and innovative learning models around the world, translating high-level conversations into engaging, relatable content.

This work is proving that creators can do more than educate audiences. They can build trust, influence conversations and help shape the future of education itself.

Strategy

Jade's strategy has always been built on one principle: if young people aren't in the room, bring the room to them.

Unjaded Jade has intentionally been positioned beyond the role of content creator. By building relationships with policymakers, educators and global organisations, she acts as a trusted bridge between institutions and the young people they serve.

This approach has led to collaborations with the UK Government, including filming in Parliament with Climate Minister Katie White OBE MP to discuss climate anxiety and opportunities within the green economy. At the Education World Forum, Jade interviewed former Education Secretary Bridget Phillipson about support for children with SEND, helping make government priorities more accessible to young people.

Jade was the first creator invited to attend the Education World Forum, where she interviewed education ministers from around the world and spoke with Google's Ben Gomes and Miriam Schneider about the future of AI in education. Alongside this, Jade has partnered with Pearson on multiple initiatives, joining panels at the Festival of Education and delivering a keynote at Languages for the Future, bringing the learner perspective into conversations traditionally led by academics and policymakers.

Her ambition extends beyond the UK. Most recently, Jade travelled to Kazakhstan to explore the Minerva Baccalaureate, documenting innovative approaches to learning for an upcoming YouTube documentary that continues her mission to spotlight educational innovation around the world.

What makes this work distinctive is that Jade is never there simply to amplify institutional messaging. Every opportunity is carefully chosen because it aligns with her long-standing mission to improve education. She represents the questions, concerns and ambitions of young people, helping create genuine dialogue while demonstrating the value creators can bring to shaping the future of education.

Results

Jade is demonstrating what meaningful creator-led impact in education can look like.

Her work continues to earn the trust of governments, global education organisations and industry leaders, leading to opportunities that have historically been reserved for academics, journalists and policymakers.

From becoming the first creator invited to the Education World Forum to collaborating with UK Government ministers and partnering with organisations such as Pearson, Jade is helping establish creators as credible voices within the education sector.

Just as importantly, these conversations are reaching the audiences they are intended to serve. Jade's content surrounding her interview with Climate Minister Katie White OBE MP generated more than 2 million views across her channels, while her Education World Forum content reached over 2.8 million views, demonstrating that complex discussions around education policy and the future of learning can engage millions of young people when delivered by a trusted creator.

These milestones are more than individual achievements; they reflect a wider shift in how educational institutions engage with young people. By combining trusted storytelling with genuine advocacy, Jade is ensuring student voices are represented in conversations that shape their futures and continuing to prove that creators deserve a seat at the table.
