To build excite among fans in the weeks leading up to the big game, the NFL created an inspiring short film celebrating Super Bowl 59’s host city.

Strategy

Narrated by New Orleans native and Tony Award-winning actor Wendell Pierce, the film highlights the city's historic culture of celebration, making it the perfect place for the season’s crowning moment.  Set against stunning images of the Crescent City, Pierce's narration showcases the resilience of New Orleans through events like Hurricane Katrina and recent terror attacks. 

Results

As someone deeply connected to the area, Pierce emphasizes that no other place can host an event like this vibrant city, which is why the NFL has chosen it to host the Super Bowl 11 times. The spirit and strength of New Orleans made it an unparalleled stage for the greatest spectacle in sports.
