E! Online: Live from the Red Carpet Social Media Project

Objectives

Our objective is increasing viewership and online participation for E! Entertainment's red carpet shows utilizing various social media platforms. Our strategy is to incorporate a variety of social media solutions and platforms to air the best content the fastest. The outcome is an increase in E! Online's social media followers amongst their different social platforms. E!'s social media viewer participation in Facebook, Instagram and Twitter has increased three folds since the beginning of our project. This social participation has helped E! become the number one destination for millions of viewers around the world.

Strategy and Execution

In order to obtain our objective, we utilized our social media integration software, CG Social, along with our graphic design and character generated systems to display timely and relevant social interaction. Our social software tracks and pulls content for the show within seconds, from Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Vine. We then incorporate that data into our character generator systems, making them ready to display and seamlessly integrated into the shows graphics design. Our social integration generates audience participation, giving them a stake and a say in the show.

Judges should select CG Social to win because unlike Twitter and Facebook, we utilize all social media platforms to help television shows paint a perfect social media campaign.
