Objectives

As Agustus and Hazel made their own Little Infinity, we asked fans to make one too.

At the Little Infinites Galaxy, fans could post a promise from any device to do something meaningful for themselves in their lifetime. And once written in the stars, that promise would become a shining reminder to make it a reality.

For a better way to gaze upon the stars, the city with the most posts got a #TFIOS dedicated bench.

And, through a sweepstakes on the site, one lucky fan won a trip to Amsterdam to follow in the footsteps of Hazel and Gus.

An original concept for Fox by NWE digital it was supported by social posts, influencer outreach, and PR. And after less than two months time it received almost nine thousand promises from Fault fans all over the world, and earned close to 3,000 retail clicks.

Strategy and Execution

Some websites have a clear message, and the Little Infinities Galaxy has one that could change your life. Make a promise to do something meaningful in your lifetime and make the experience live on in your memories, and in the stars, forever.

An international fan named Rebecca who posted said, "I promise to improve my translations and move to England one day." And another fan named Lucy made her promise an affirmation, saying, "I promise to never be afraid to embrace myself and show people I am extraordinary in my own way!" From every part of the globe fans, mostly teenage girls, reinforced their aspirations and defined the very things they wanted to do in their lives. It was as emotional as the relationship shared between Agustus Waters and Hazel Grace.

Also through the site there was a city-wide pledge contest for a #TFIOS dedicated park bench, and a sweepstakes to Amsterdam.

On September 16th, the bench was unveiled at The Strand Bookstore in New York City. Congrats on the most pledges New York!

And one lucky fan won the sweepstakes and went to Amsterdam with a friend to dine where Hazel and Gus dined, to visit the Anne Frank house where they experienced their first kiss, and to soak in the magic of the Amsterdam canals.

Where the combined effort of the site, promotion, and sweepstakes made Fault fans Fault Fanatics, the numbers for Fox were bigger than your average infinity.
