During the trying times of 2020, schools scrambled to figure out the future of education. Our goal was to show that our integrated education solutions can facilitate the critical human connection between teachers and their students, and then drive them to our global education solution pages. To do this, we needed a campaign that would shine a light on these solutions for a global audience.
ViewSonic being a global company, we needed to represent our various regions around the world. Since music is the universal language, we decided to make a music video to reach that global audience. The campaign was built around an original song “In This Together”, that we wrote and composed with Grammy-winning songwriters.
Shooting during the pandemic and making sure every region was aligned proved to be a challenge. But we reached out to a production company based in the US. With their help, we contacted local production companies in different countries and got around travel restrictions by finding local talent and livestreaming our shoot so that we, along with our coworkers based in different parts of tbe world, could participate in the production. From this global video shoot, we were able to create a campaign that included ads, social content, brochures, landing pages, a photobank and much more for all our regions.
Our full-length music video, Here’s to Learning - “A Thank You to Educators” went viral with 3.88M views. The track was so popular that we made it available on iTunes & Spotify. The collective video assets inspired more than 15.9M total organic views. Website traffic for our global education solution pages went up 483% during the campaign and stimulated overall organic page view growth by 144%. Overall, our “Here’s to Learning” campaign was a huge success and it helped ViewSonic rank #1 within the Interactive Flat Panels by Q3 of 2021 (According to FutureSource).
