Salam Salami's audience engagement campaign was created to provide an engaging and interactive entertainment experience during Ramadan 2024. The goal was to shift away from traditional passive viewing by allowing the audience to actively participate in the show through real-time comments and interactions with the host. By combining humor, cultural relevance, and live feedback, the objective was to create a sense of community, build stronger connections with viewers, and provide high-energy content that resonated with a wide audience. Additionally, "Salam Salami" aimed to break records for online participation, setting new standards for live social media shows and creating a trend for interactive content.

The strategy behind Salam Salami's audience engagement campaign was to leverage social media platforms, specifically Facebook, to create a live, interactive entertainment program that encouraged real-time viewer participation. With Ramadan being a time for connection, the show was designed to maximize engagement by inviting the audience to contribute their thoughts, comments, and reactions throughout the broadcast. This created a sense of inclusivity, making viewers feel like active participants rather than passive consumers of content.

The format of the show was high-energy and culturally relevant, incorporating humor and lighthearted content that resonated with viewers. The host, Salam Salami, was tasked with encouraging real-time engagement by actively interacting with the audience, encouraging them to comment, share their opinions, and engage with the topics discussed. The goal was to create a two-way conversation, where viewers felt directly connected to the host and to each other.

Execution was focused on maintaining high-quality streaming for seamless live broadcasts. With this strategy in place, "Salam Salami" quickly became a sensation, setting new records for online interaction and inspiring similar formats across various platforms.
 

Results

Salam Salami" was a resounding success, surpassing all expectations for engagement. The show achieved an unprecedented 2.85 million comments and 6 million views, setting new records for participation during Ramadan. The interactive format succeeded in building a strong sense of community, with viewers actively engaging in real-time with the host. The show’s success not only met its objectives but also transformed the live entertainment landscape, setting new benchmarks for online engagement.
