Lenovo x Intel Present: #CreatorOdyssey

Objective

To spotlight the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition imagined with Intel, Portal A set out to create an unforgettable internet moment—one that would inspire young creatives worldwide to push the boundaries of their imagination with Lenovo technology.

We partnered with seven of the world’s most visionary creator-artists, including Gawx Art (Mexico), Vexx (Belgium), Shutter Authority (India), and Gaku Lange (Japan), to launch Creator Odyssey—a global chain of artistic collaboration. With the insight that inspiration is the sincerest form of flattery, we passed a single Aura Edition laptop from artist to artist, sparking a wave of ingenuity across the global creator community.

The journey culminated in a Lenovo brand film, an elevated documentary short that captured the collaborative process, the stunning work produced, and the limitless potential of creators empowered by the right tools.

Strategy

We assembled a group of talented creators from around the world, challenging them to push their artistic boundaries and create something entirely new.

To maximize excitement and audience engagement, we structured the campaign into three distinct phases, strategically integrating brand messaging while prioritizing creative freedom and authenticity.

Gawx, our Creative Legend, kicked off the journey with a video reflecting on the nature of inspiration, inviting fellow artists to join the challenge. Brand integration was intentionally minimal at this stage, focusing on sparking excitement and teasing the remarkable work to come.

In the next phase, The Journey, the Aura Edition laptop traveled from creator to creator across the globe, with each artist building on the work of the one previous. This phase showcased the laptop’s features organically, seamlessly integrating them into their creative process through Making Of videos.

During this phase, we managed productions both remotely and on-site in the U.S., Mexico, Japan, India, Belgium, Norway, and Australia, ultimately crafting a brand film that captured the overarching story of this global creative odyssey.

The Finale phase saw Gawx reflecting on his original question—what is the nature of inspiration?—creating a final piece influenced by everything the other artists had made. This phase not only delivered a satisfying conclusion for viewers, but also demonstrated how the Aura Edition laptop played a key role in bringing these ideas to life.

Throughout the campaign, we strategically mapped the laptop’s features across all eight hero videos, ensuring the product had its moment without overshadowing the creators’ artistic vision. Collaborating closely with each artist, we ensured that while every piece took inspiration from the next, creative freedom and authenticity remained at the heart of the project.

Working on an ambitious timeline, we planned and reviewed over 50 pieces of brand and creator content, carefully scheduling releases across all three phases to keep audiences engaged and eager for more.

Results

As of January 14, the campaign has amassed 17 million views and over 800,000 total engagements across 145 pieces of content. With an impressive 10% engagement rate, far exceeding platform averages of 4-5% (and 3-4% for branded creator content), and 100% positive fan sentiment, it's clear the campaign not only captured attention but also resonated deeply with audiences.

Fans responded with enthusiasm to the creativity and authenticity of the campaign, leaving comments like:

At nearly 1M watch hours (that’s over 100 years!) and an average view duration of 4:44, longform YouTube videos demonstrated strong viewer retention.

Beyond the main campaign, we also produced a brand film for Lenovo’s YouTube channel, telling the full story of #CreatorOdyssey. This video placed the creators, their art, and the Aura Edition laptop at the forefront, further solidifying the connection between Lenovo and the creative community. The experience of participating in this global production left a lasting impact on the creators, fueling their genuine enthusiasm for the program, and leading to additional organic social posts that further amplified the campaign’s reach.
