SERHANT. Editorial

Entered in Real Estate

Objective

At SERHANT. Studios, we believe luxury real estate deserves the same artistic and editorial storytelling as the world’s most captivating films. This year, we proudly introduce SERHANT. Editorial, a bold expansion of our award-winning real estate media, where we explored the key genres of editorial filmmaking: documentary, narrative, fashion, and dance.

Our latest series of short films redefines how properties are presented, transforming them into immersive concepts that go beyond traditional real estate marketing, focusing on a people-forward perspective. From architectural documentaries to high-fashion aesthetics and movement-driven storytelling, each film is meticulously crafted to align with the essence of the featured property.

By integrating cinematic techniques used in high-end editorial content, we’re not just showcasing homes—we’re crafting unique experiences. These films are designed to elicit emotion, transport viewers, and challenge industry norms, positioning SERHANT. Studios at the forefront of luxury real estate storytelling.

Strategy

This year’s submission showcases five distinct short films, each aligning with one of the primary genres of editorial filmmaking.

1. One Williamsburg Wharf - Development Documentary Editorial

This film serves as a vision piece for One Williamsburg Wharf, an upcoming luxury development on the Brooklyn waterfront. By interviewing the developer, architect, interior designer, and landscape designer, we create a compelling narrative about the building’s future impact.

With the unique challenge of marketing a building still under construction, the SERHANT. Studios team employed a multi-layered visual approach. Render animations by Hayes Davidson provided a glimpse into the finished project, while immersive cinematography and an exclusive look at the high-end sales gallery anchored the film in the present. Additionally, exceptional interview lighting was used to enhance the depth and warmth of each subject, creating a polished, high-end aesthetic that reflects the prestige of the development.

To further ground the film in its evolving environment, aerial construction cinematography was strategically incorporated, capturing the scale of the project and its transformative presence on the Williamsburg waterfront. By blending vision with reality, this film not only showcases the architectural ambition behind One Williamsburg Wharf but also immerses viewers in the energy of a landmark in the making.

2. 50 Chapman Road - Documentary Editorial

In our Foundations series, we uncover the soul of remarkable homes—architectural masterpieces that blend history, craftsmanship, and environment into living works of art. Our latest feature takes us to Garrison, New York, where 50 Chapman Road stands as a breathtaking testament to European elegance amidst untamed nature.

This French chateau-inspired estate captures the essence of old-world charm, seamlessly integrating intricate European craftsmanship with the serene beauty of its surroundings.

Through stunning cinematography and intimate storytelling, this episode explores how the home’s design fosters a deep connection to the landscape, balancing grandeur with tranquility. From hand-carved details to its timeless aesthetic, every aspect of this estate tells a story—one of artistry, heritage, and a profound relationship with nature. Foundations is more than a series about homes; it’s an invitation to experience architecture as a living narrative—where design meets emotion, and history meets the present.

3. 168 Plymouth St, #PHA - Fashion Editorial

Luxury real estate meets high-fashion cinematography in this visually striking short film. Designed to highlight the juxtaposition of Dumbo’s fast-paced energy and the penthouse’s tranquil ambiance, this film embraces fashion-advertising techniques, including fluid movement, stylized lighting, and high-contrast composition.

As one of Brooklyn’s most iconic neighborhoods, Dumbo serves as a cinematic backdrop, with aerial and street-style cinematography capturing its signature bridges, cobblestone streets, and waterfront skyline. These sweeping shots contrast beautifully with the penthouse’s serene interiors, reinforcing the theme of urban vibrancy meeting private retreat.

The film employs a subtle yet engaging narrative device: Ryan Serhant is seen moving through the home, seemingly waiting for someone, until it is revealed that the viewer is the guest he has been expecting. This moment, where he looks directly into the camera, breaks the fourth wall and creates an intimate connection with the audience, seamlessly drawing them into the experience of the home. This storytelling technique, often seen in high-end fashion films and luxury branding, transforms the property tour into something more immersive and personal.

Smart home AI features are also seamlessly woven into the storytelling, blending cutting-edge technology with luxury aesthetics, making this property both a visual and experiential piece.

4. 2 Park Place, #41A - Narrative Editorial

Expanding on our Through The Lens Of series, this film is inspired by the signature style of Spike Jonze, particularly his work in Her. The film pairs a minimalist aesthetic with symbolic imagery, an introspective tone, and carefully curated, often symmetrical cinematography, reimagining the iconic Woolworth Tower Residences (2 Park Place, #41A) as an intimate and emotionally rich setting. The film garnered 163 thousand views and over 18 days of watch time on Instagram alone, turning the home into a character within its own story that inspired our audiences to consider life at The Woolworth Tower, resulting in a sale of the listing.

5. 119 Proprietors Crossing - Dance Editorial

Real estate meets the art of movement in this cinematic dance film, set within the breathtaking 119 Proprietors Crossing, a masterpiece designed by award-winning architect James E. Gearity. Nestled on four private acres, this six-bedroom estate is more than just a home; it’s a stage for elegance, where architecture and emotion flow together in perfect harmony.

Through the seamless choreography of ballet, we explore the residence as a living, breathing work of art, each room unveiling itself through movement, revealing the home’s exquisite design, grand proportions, and luxurious details. The dance acts as a guide, leading viewers through sun-drenched interiors, soaring ceilings, and sculptural staircases, transforming the property tour into an immersive experience that captivates the senses.

This film reimagines real estate media, proving that luxury isn’t just about what you see, it’s about what you feel. 119 Proprietors Crossing isn’t just a house; it’s an experience, waiting to be lived in.
