Media Multiplyer / Corner Bakery Cafe

Objectives

Corner Bakery Cafe tapped Rockfish to create a digital campaign to drive summer sales. The client asked for a campaign that was cost-effective, secure in terms of offer control and accessibility, engaged its digitally savvy consumers, utilized social media and allowed customers to redeem via a mobile device. Rockfish collaborated with Corner Bakery Cafe to create a cost-effective, results-driven social campaign using the Rockfish Labs propriety technology platform, Media Multiplyer, that could reach consumers on both Facebook or via a mobile device. Users were given the option of a free cup of soup, or, if willing to share the campaign on Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest, a free cup of soup and a free cookie. Users could choose how to receive the secure coupon: by email or by text message with a secure link to a coupon redemption site via mobile or desktop. The campaign went above and beyond expected results: • It was a third of the cost of Corner Bakery’s previous print campaigns, while reaching approximately the same number of customers as their traditional campaigns. • Generated 66% more redemptions. By leveraging new and emerging technology, the Media Multiplyer / Corner Bakery Cafe campaign delivered better-than-expected results. This is one example of how Media Multiplyer is changing the game for marketers. Launched by Rockfish in 2013, Media Multiplyer is a first-of-its-kind rich media technology that allows brands, marketers and media buyers to optimize digital ad spending while providing consumers a rewarding way to engage with and redeem offers from their favorite brands. The technology allows brands to engage customers across multiple digital channels and devices from a single self-contained, sharable ad unit. By interacting with Media Multiplyer–powered ad units, consumers can share a brand's coupons, deals, offers and messaging with their social networks, as well as via mobile phones, email, desktop printers and even direct-to‑e‑commerce shopping carts.
