This creative exploration series was designed to promote the deep content library of titles in Hulu's digital vaults to the viewing customers. Our objective was to hit the nostalgia factor of well-known past series using the trending topic #tbtv on Throwback Thursdays (#tbt).
This campaign was designed as a series of weekly images published on Thursdays using all mainstream social channels (Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, Tumblr) with primary promotion taking advantage of Facebook's technology. The timing was specifically selected to take advantage of a "quiet" moment during the week – Thursdays, and popular trending topic #tbt (Throwback Thursday).
The campaign started in September 2014 as a pure organic play on Facebook and was a hit from the beginning.
