Mommy's Bliss is a one-of-a-kind brand that offers products for babies and moms to help with colic and upset tummy in young children. To help celebrate the launch of their new products being featured in WalMart, they teamed up with Customer Magnetism to host a sweepstakes.
Moms are always in need of something, whether it's diapers, formula, bottles or blankets! What more could help a new mom than a shopping spree at WalMart? It was easy to enter; all you had to do was "Like" Mommy's Bliss on Facebook and enter your information. The goal of the contest was to help generate awareness that their products would now be available for purchase at WalMart and to help a new mom with some of her much-needed baby shopping. In addition, Mommy's Bliss wanted to increase their following on Facebook, so that they could help provide much needed product information and tips for new moms.
The contest lived on their Facebook page and was promoted via social ads and promoted posts. The contest was deemed a success with hundreds of thousands of entries, and 5,000 new likes on Facebook.
So it may seem like a simple entry – just "like" our page and enter your information to win a prize. However, the meaning behind what this sweepstakes could provide to a new family or mom is more than just simple. Having the opportunity to win $500 to WalMart to buy supplies for your family, including products to help your baby with nausea or colic – is an opportunity that most moms would jump at.
Mommy's Bliss had the goal of helping out a mom, and introducing her to a new and helpful brand. Mommy's Bliss products provide relief for babies, which in turn are providing relief to a mother. In addition, Mommy's Bliss wanted to grow their engaged fan base. They provide weekly tips, health information, mommy-suggestions, and product updates each day and introduce their product to moms who may need Colic and gas-relief products – here was a great opportunity.
With a budget of $1500 – the Mommy's Bliss social team promoted the contest through Facebook ads directing people to the form, as well as promoted posts each week. The contest ran for just over a month and fans could enter each day (1 entry per day). The contest garnered over 5,000 new likes for Mommy's Bliss' Facebook page and had over 375,000 entries! The contest was shared 4,220 times and one lucky winner took home $500 to WalMart.
The design and the user-interface for the contest was created by Customer Magnetism to connect the Mommy's Brand bliss to their product launch while appealing to moms. The contest lived on Facebook on a tab, and was managed through Woobox and the Customer Magnetism team. The excitement of the contest was contagious – fans were sharing the contest, exclaiming their excitement and eagerly waiting the announcement. Our winner was extremely happy and our fans continued to grow because we had created brand ambassadors.
The contest was a success, not only because we helped a new mom shop for her little one, but we had created a team of loyal followers. Not only were they excited for future contests, but for the information and tips that Mommy's Bliss provided.
