Objectives

This music video series exists across multiple channels under Nickelodeon Digital Studio. The Dumplings are fully original characters that encourage viewers to engage with Nickelodeon IP in a fun and musical way. The Dumplings are irresistible to move with! 

 

Strategy and Execution

Songs with the Dumplings feature animated lyrics in English on screen so viewers can sing and dance. The aim with music is to reach viewers of all ages with easy-to-learn lyrics and bouncy rhythms. This goal is proven successful as videos with the Dumplings regularly earn hundreds of thousands into millions of views.

Results

Animation is created in partnership with production partner Cartuna, with music by Safari Riot. This year one of the videos that gained the most viewership for a Dumplings video was from the SpongeBob YouTube channel named ‘Dumplings React to SpongeBob Songs + Scenes Part 3! 🥟🍍 | My Squishy Little Dumplings | SpongeBob.’
