Guy Fieri’s Flavortown is no different. No longer just Guy Fieri’s ancillary social media channels, we set out to make Flavortown’s social presence a mythical destination to salivate over the internet’s dankest looking food, explore the psyches and daily lives of Flavortonian residents, and celebrate our mayor, Guy Fieri.
In 2024, our team looked at Flavortown’s audience and the ever-evolving social landscape. It led us to an insight: Flavortown exists on no map, but it exists in fans’ minds, stomachs, and hearts. Tactically, our out-of-the-box ideas came to life through attention grabbing short-form video that felt native to platforms while carrying an energy like no other. Additionally, our team tapped into their Flavortonian’s mindsets to reshare food posts that incited salvation while also creating first-of-their-kind memes. The direction ultimately aimed to capture the minds, stomachs, and hearts of old Flavortown fans while also inducting new ones.
