Our goal was simple: deliver a hands-on, unforgettable experience. Attendees composed their own music using AI and walked away with a custom vinyl recording of their creation. The Xero AI Music Factory wasn’t just about showcasing technology; it was about connecting industry professionals to the future in a fun and relatable way.

We built a custom, proprietary language learning platform exclusively for Xero, leveraging generative AI technology to deliver an innovation-driven experience at Xerocon, the INVNT-powered global “Coachella for Accountants.”
Challenge: The real challenge lay in building and integrating complex AI technologies from the ground up and making them accessible and engaging for a diverse audience—from accounting professionals to tech enthusiasts. Our goal was to ensure that AI’s creative potential was not only easily understood but also experienced in a way that was both fun and memorable, regardless of technical expertise.
To bring the Xero AI Music Factory to life, we faced the challenge of harnessing the power of Language Learning Models and Generative AI into a rich musical immersion. We crafted an interactive experience that seamlessly combined cutting-edge AI tools—like ChatGPT, Leonardo.AI, and Google Cloud Run—into a unique, engaging activation format. The journey started with a guided questionnaire, where participants selected preferences such as musical genres and themes. This data was then processed through the AI tools, which transformed it into a fully realized artistic output—generating both a custom music track and a personalized album cover in under 30 seconds.
The result was a one-of-a-kind vinyl recording, which participants could take home as a tangible souvenir of their AI-generated creation. Not only did this provide a unique keepsake from the event, but it also fostered a personal connection to the world of AI-driven creativity. Over the two days at Xerocon 2024, we successfully completed 1,627 activations, with an impressive average session duration of 1.35 minutes.
Beyond entertainment, the event was designed to educate. By making AI both interactive and creative, we demonstrated how AI can extend beyond traditional business functions, helping attendees see its potential to enhance personal expression and creativity.
